India Criticizes Canada Over Nijjar Murder Case: ‘No Evidence Provided’

India Criticizes Canada Over Nijjar Murder Case: ‘No Evidence Provided’.

India Criticizes Canada: India condemns Canada’s arrest of three Indian citizens in the Hardeep Singh Nijjar murder case, citing lack of evidence.

Diplomatic tensions rise as India accuses Canada of harboring criminals and separatists.

We were not given any evidence’, India scolds Canada on the arrest of three Indians.

The Canadian government has arrested three Indian citizens for the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

Regarding this action of Canada, India has said that it has not received any formal message in this regard from Canada.

The Foreign Ministry on Thursday said Canada has not provided any ‘specific’ evidence or relevant information in the Hardeep Singh Nijjar murder case and no ‘formal communication’ has been provided.

On the three Indians arrested in Canada in the Nijjar murder case, the External Affairs Ministry spokesperson said, “We have not been given any information in this matter.

Canada has informed us about the arrest. However, we have not heard from anyone in writing. Last week, Canadian agencies arrested three Indian nationals and charged them with Nijjar’s murder.

It is said that these three had come to Canada on a student visa. Jaiswal said political interests are at work in this matter.

India Criticizes Canada: ‘No information provided by Canadian authorities’.

A Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that no specific or relevant evidence or information in this case has been provided to us by Canadian authorities.

We have said many times that separatists, extremists, and those advocating violence are getting protection in Canada.

Indian diplomats posted in Canada have been repeatedly threatened and prevented from performing their duties.

India has repeatedly conveyed to Canadian authorities that people associated with organized crimes in India have been allowed to enter and reside in Canada.

Unfortunately, these things were not taken into consideration in India. Extradition requests for several people wanted in India are currently pending in Canada.

Discussions are taking place at various diplomatic levels with the Canadian side.

At a press conference on Thursday, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that our diplomats have been threatened and are being obstructed in the performance of their duties.

We have also notified Canadian authorities about the issuance of admission and residency permits to individuals connected to Indian organized crime.

‘We want to resolve all issues diplomatically.’

The spokesperson said both countries are currently in talks regarding the intimidation of Indian diplomats posted in Canada by Khalistan supporters.

We want to resolve all issues diplomatically.

India on Tuesday reacted strongly to the objectionable display of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s effigy in a procession in Ontario (Canada), condemning the haven given to criminals and separatists in Canada.

India had said that glorification of elements promoting violence is being allowed in Canada.
