In this episode, the vaccine has now reached Oman. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar gave this information by tweeting on Saturday. He said that India providing vaccines to Oman is a symbol of centuries-old friendship.

He said that the Made in India vaccine reached Muscat. It shows the deep friendship that has been going on for centuries.

The Indian embassy in Muscat retweeted the foreign minister’s tweet saying that vaccines made in India have arrived in Muscat. It shows the deep friendship of thousands of years.

Significantly, Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said on Thursday that India plans to provide vaccines to Oman, CARICOM countries, Nicaragua, Pacific island countries.

He said that India plans to give 10 million or 10 million vaccine doses to Africa and 10 lakh vaccines to UN health workers under the Covacs facility (Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization).

According to Anurag Shrivastava, from 20 January 2021, we have gifted more than 5.5 million doses of coronavirus vaccine to our neighbors and extended neighborhoods. 1.5 lakh has been provided to Bhutan.

1 lakh to the Maldives, Mauritius, and Bahrain, 10 lakh to Nepal, 20 lakh to Bangladesh, 15 lakh to Myanmar, 50,000 to Seychelles, 5 lakh to Sri Lanka.

In the coming days, we are planning to gift 1 lakh to Oman, 5 lakh to CARICOM countries, 2 lakh to Nicaragua, and 2 lakh to Pacific Island countries.

These supplies are being made at the request of these countries. In addition, India plans to commercially export the Coronavirus vaccine to Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Canada, Mongolia, and other countries.

According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, 13,052 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. During this time 127 people have died due to Coronavirus in the country.

According to the statistics of the Union Ministry of Health, there has been 1 crore 7 lakh 46 thousand 183 cases of coronavirus in the country so far.

However, out of this, 1 crore 4 lakh 23 thousand 125 people have died. According to the Ministry of Health, the number of active cases of corona in the country is 1 lakh 68 thousand 784.

The number of deaths from corona in India has increased to 1 lakh 54 thousand 274.
