India won 3rd ODI by 96 runs,  made a 3-0 sweep against West Indies. Rohit Sharma created history, India cleaned West Indies for the first time in the ODI series.

Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, India won all three matches of the three-match ODI series and won the series 3–0 and captured the title.

This three-match ODI series will always be remembered for the reason that India cleaned the West Indies for the first time in this.

All the matches of this ODI series were played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The performance of the Indian team in these three matches was very good and the visiting team got defeated.

In the first match of this ODI series, India won by 6 wickets, while in the second match by 44 runs and in the third match by 96 runs.

Rohit Sharma captained the first 13 consecutive ODIs, winning 11 matches and breaking Virat Kohli’s record.

Earlier, Virat Kohli had won 10 matches while captaining in the first 13 ODIs. Rohit Sharma has left behind Virat Kohli and has registered a new record in his name.

KL Rahul was out while Dhawan, Shreyas, Deepak, and Kuldeep Yadav got a chance.

For the third ODI, the Indian team made four changes in the playing XI. KL Rahul, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Deepak Hooda were dropped while Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, and Kuldeep Yadav have been included in the last eleven.

Deepak Chahar was given the chance in place of Shardul Thakur. Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer could not play in the last two matches due to covid.

For the last match of this ODI series against India, the visiting team made a change in their playing XI. West Indies rested Aqeel Hossain for this match and Hayden Walsh got a chance in his place.
