It is worth noting that in August this year, a MiG-21 crashed in the Barmer district of Rajasthan.

According to the information, this accident happened outside the Ganga village of Sam, about 70 km from Jaisalmer district headquarters.

It has come to light that the plane fell on a kutcha hut. There was no one inside the hut.

Fire brigade vehicles were sent from Jaisalmer to extinguish the fire that broke out after the plane crashed. The fire could be brought under control with great difficulty.

On the other hand, the nearby villagers reached the spot after hearing the sound of the blast. The villagers themselves informed the police.

It is said that the pilot had taken off for practice, but due to technical fault, the accident happened. It is worth noting that MiG-21 has played an important role on many occasions including the Indo-Pak war of 1971, Kargil war of 1999.

Jaisalmer Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh said that the plane crashed in the area of ​​Desert National Park of Sam police station area. There is information. Local food police reached the spot.

Group Captain Yashpal Singh Negi, who was involved in the Balakot airstrike, and Squadron Leader Shivanand were injured in the accident. An inquiry into the accident was ordered.
