Indian And Chinese Troops Face-To-face In Spanggur

Indian and Chinese troops face-to-face in Spanggur, India also increased deployment after increasing the enemy base. China has mobilized thousands of troops, tanks, and howitzer cannons at the Spanggur Gap in the southern part of Pangong Lake in eastern Ladakh.

Chinese soldiers are within a rifle range of the Indian jawans. Indian troops have also been on high alert since this deployment by China. Indian troops have reached strategic elevation areas on the southern coast of Lake Pangong near Chushul on the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

After this, the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has increased the tension in the atmosphere by creating a mob of troops in the Spanggur Gap since 30 August. “In view of the deployment of the Chinese Army, the Indian Army has also deployed its equivalent in the Spanggur Gap,” a government official said.

The armies of both countries are within shooting range (a few steps away). Sources said that China has deployed its militia squad to strengthen its grip on the border areas. They have been tasked to evacuate the soldiers of the Indian Army from areas of significant height in strategic terms.

The militia is a mixed organization of mountaineers, boxers, local fight club members, and others. Most of its members are drawn from the local population. A senior government official said, the militia is basically a reserve force of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.

They are deployed in wartime conditions. Assist in PLA military operations. The Indian Army has categorically reiterated that if the Chinese troops take any provocative step, the army will retaliate.

Sources said that the PLA soldiers on the northern shore of Pangong Lake are also looking for an opportunity to change the status quo and capture the area of Finger-4.

Indian soldiers, sensing the situation, have made their way into some high altitude areas of the area. Meanwhile, talks between the top commanders of India and China on Saturday to reduce tension along the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh again turned out to be inconclusive.

The conversation lasted from 11 am to 3 pm in Chushul. There was no concrete result of military-level talks on Saturday. Another high-level meeting of senior military officers is expected in the next few days.
