Indian Army Facing Most Challenges in the World, Need for Reform in Defense Sector- CDS Rawat.

Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat said on Thursday that the Indian Army is facing more challenges than any other army in the world.

Therefore, there is a need for structural reforms in the defense sector and to study the changes that other countries have brought to meet the spectrum of war.

He said in a video conference on Thursday that the 20th century has seen a profound change in the character and nature of war due to information inclusion and technological development.

CDS Rawat further said that new tools and tactics can be employed to connect people faster. This has never happened before. India faces complex security and a challenging environment.

He said that defining structural reforms in national security strategy, high defense strategic guidance, high defense, and operational organizations are some of the important steps that we need to take.

There is a need to bring changes in the army at different levels.

OCDS Rawat also said that there is a need to bring changes in the army at different levels. It includes political-military, strategic operations, and strategic levels.

The main bases of change are design, technology, livelihood, and readiness. He further stated that organizational structures for conventional wars or limited wars already exist under nuclear war.

But they need to be re-modeled, re-equipped, and re-oriented, combined with the necessary flexibility in a digital war zone. May the fight be fought.

Army Recruitment Rally 2021: Army recruitment rally for Delhi and Haryana candidates from March 18, registration till March 13.

A recruitment rally is to be organized by the Indian Army for the candidates of Delhi State and the candidates of Faridabad, Gurugram, Mewat (Noah), and Palwal districts of Haryana State.

According to the recruitment notification issued by the Army Recruitment Office at Delhi Cantt, the rally is to be organized from 18 March to 25 March 2021 at Indira Gandhi Sports Stadium in Una, Himachal Pradesh.

This recruitment rally is to be organized for the Sepoy de Pharma category.

Candidates desirous of participating in the rally will have to register by visiting the Indian Army’s prescribed application portal, joinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidates can register on the portal by 13 March 2021.
