The Navy will continue surveillance in the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden, and enemies’ plans will be thwarted.

The Indian Navy said on Wednesday, its ships and aircraft will continue to enhance surveillance and maritime security operations.

Over the past week, naval task groups deployed in the area have examined a large number of fishing vessels and other vessels.

The Navy has stepped up maritime surveillance in the wake of incidents of attacks on merchant vessels, including the drone targeting of MV Chem Pluto, 220 nautical miles off the Porbandar coast last month.

According to the statement issued by the Indian Navy, the Indian Navy is continuously monitoring the area with maritime patrol aircraft and pilotless aircraft.

The Indian Navy is also coordinating with the Coast Guard to strengthen surveillance within India’s Exclusive Economic Zone.

The NCC camp will be a glimpse of the entire India, which will be inaugurated by the Vice President and will conclude with a rally by the Prime Minister.

Lieutenant General Singh said on Wednesday that various competitions ranging from best team, best cadet, and horse riding will be organized.

This camp provides a glimpse of the NCC training imparted throughout the year. This camp is organized at Cariappa Parade Ground, Delhi Cantonment.

During this, the Director General of NCC gave a presentation on the 2024 camp. He then shared information on NCC’s plans to make cadet training more relevant to contemporary needs.

In 2023, cadets from all 28 states and eight union territories—including 710 girls—participated in the roughly month-long camp, as per an official government statement released last year.
