Indian Railways Is Launching A Special Tejas Sleeper Coach

Indian Railways is launching a special Tejas sleeper coach from February 15, the target is to manufacture 500 such coaches in the next financial year.

Indian Railways is going to start Tejas sleeper type trains from 15 February. The ministry said on Friday that it is going to start from the Agartala Rajdhani train.

Railways have decided to install Tejas Sleeper Coach with modern facilities in Agartala-Anand Vihar Terminal Special Rajdhani Express. This will establish better connectivity with the national capital.

The Indian Railways said in a statement, “These new sleeper coaches of Tejas train type with smart facilities will make the journey better for the passengers.

Tejas services are planned to start from February 15. Railways said that by introducing the modern Tejas sleeper type train for long-distance travel, Indian Railways is making a big change in the travel experience of passengers.

The Railways further said in the statement, ‘It has been planned that 500 Tejas type sleeper coaches will be manufactured in the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) and Modern Coach Factory (MCF) in the production units of Indian Railways in the current financial year, which will be gradually Gently Indian Railways network premium will be installed in long-distance trains.

All entrance doors of the Tejas type coach are automatically centralized, which will be controlled by the guard of the train. This train will not start running from the railway station until all the doors are closed properly.

Bio vacuum toilet has been installed in them. These coaches are lashed with air suspension. Also, the Centralized Passenger Information Coach Computing Unit will be in all coaches to convey information to passengers.

Automatic fire alarm and detection systems have been installed in these Tejas type coaches.

The berth reading light for each passenger for reading has been installed in all seats. At the same time, CCTV cameras have been installed in the coach, whose picture quality is much better at night.
