Indigenous State-of-the-art ALH Helicopter Inducted Into Navy

Indigenous state-of-the-art ALH helicopter inducted into Navy deployed on INS Utkrosh.

Indigenously manufactured state-of-the-art ALH helicopters have been inducted into Air Squadron (INS) 325 of the Indian Navy.

On Tuesday, he was inducted into the Navy at a grand ceremony held onboard INS Utkrosh in Port Blair.

Lt Gen Ajay Singh, Commander-in-Chief of Andaman and Nicobar Command inducted this squadron into the Navy. These helicopters took off for the first time in the Andaman Islands earlier this year.

Indigenous state-of-the-art ALH helicopter: It was officially inducted into the Navy only on 28 January. On Tuesday, it was deployed on INS Utkrosh.

Congratulating INS Utkrosh on the occasion, Lt Gen Ajay Singh noted the role played by the Indian Armed Forces during the recent national crisis and the exceptional service rendered by ALH.

This state-of-the-art indigenous light helicopter, which can be used for a variety of services, has been developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) based in Bangalore.

This is a big leap in the direction of the Government of India’s plan to promote self-reliant India in the military aviation sector.

INS Utkrosh: These helicopters are equipped with the latest generation avionics and roll equipment. They will be mainly used for maritime reiki.

They can also be used for humanitarian aid and disaster relief in remote islands. The official release said that this helicopter is equipped with surveillance radar.

The squadron is commanded by Commander (Commander) Avinash Kumar Sharma who is a skilled and experienced pilot.

Recently, the Defense Ministry signed a deal worth Rs 2,971 crore to acquire the Astra Mk-1 missile system. For this, the ministry has tied up with state-owned Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL).

This air-to-air missile and related equipment will be used by both the Indian Air Force and the Navy.

The Air Force has already conducted successful tests of this missile. It has been linked to Sukhoi-30 Mk-1.
