Airline Indigo is starting direct flights to Goa. IndiGo has also started booking direct flights from Coimbatore to popular tourist destination Goa.

This news is a matter of happiness for travelers and travel agents. According to the online booking website, the new non-stop service is scheduled to start from October 31.

What is the full schedule?

The flight will depart from Coimbatore at 22:40 hrs and arrive in Goa at 00:05 hrs. The return flight is from Goa at 00:35 and will land at Coimbatore at 01:55.

The non-stop journey between the two cities takes 1.20 to 1.25 hours as per the schedule. Direct flights will not only reduce travel hours but also reduce ticket costs.

At present, the journey takes three to four hours, with the introduction of the new service, the travel time will be reduced to one and a half hours.

A person associated with the airline said that in view of the festive season, the flight is expected to get a good response from the people of the city and neighboring districts.
