Indiscriminate shooting at Texas school, reports of many injured: America.

Several people have been injured in indiscriminate shooting at a school in Texas, USA. A shooting took place on Wednesday at Timberview High School in Arlington.

According to local media reports quoting police sources, at least three people have been admitted to the hospital.

Fox News reported that police sources confirmed the shooting at Timberview High School and three people were taken to hospital after being shot. So far no death has been reported.

Arlington Police has informed that she has reached the scene. There its officers are conducting a search operation with the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobago and Explosives).

Mansfield Independent School District has its own police department.

Mansfield Police Department, Grand Prairie Police Department, and other agencies are present on the spot.

Officials told a news conference that the shooting happened after a fight at the school. Police are searching for the suspected shooter, identified as 18-year-old Timothy George Simpkins.

Arlington Assistant Police Chief Kevin Colby said two of the four wounded were shot. Three of the four were taken to the hospital and the other person refused treatment.

In a letter to parents, the Mansfield Independent School District informed that police are searching for the shooter who opened fire at the school.

The letter states that students and staff have been locked up in their classrooms and offices.

No movement is allowed. NBC Dallas-Fort Worth has given this information. Officers were seen running towards the school from the parking lot with long guns.

According to NBC Dallas-Fort Worth, Timberview High School is a part of the Mansfield Independent School District.
