In the 55th match of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League, this batsman, who came out to open the innings against Sunrisers Hyderabad, scored fifty runs in just 16 balls.

This is the fastest fifty by any batsman made by Mumbai Indians.

On Friday, Rohit Sharma won the toss against Hyderabad and decided to bat first. Kishan, who came out to bat with the captain, started hitting big shots from the first ball itself.

He completed his fifty off 16 balls hitting 8 fours and 2 sixes.

In the crucial match, this young man’s bat came out with a bang. Kishan played a stormy inning of 84 runs off 32 balls, scoring 11 fours and 4 sixes.

Ishan Kishan scored a half-century: Ishan Kishan made records

Kishan took many records in a single innings. He set the record for the fastest fifty for his team. He also became the fastest batsman to score a half-century in the UAE.

Earlier in the last season, Nicholas Pooran scored fifty runs in 17 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad itself. With this, he has now become the joint third batsman to score the fastest fifty in the history of IPL.

Fastest fifty in IPL history

The record of making the fastest half-century in the tournament is held by Punjab Kings captain KL Rahul.

In the year 2018, he did this feat against Delhi Capitals in just 14 balls. In 2014, Yusuf Pathan scored a half-century in 15 balls against Hyderabad.

With this innings, Ishan has moved up to joint third position along with Sunil Narine and Suresh Raina.

Two Indian batsmen returned to form just before T20 world cup 2021, big worry removed

Before the UAE leg of IPL 2021, when Team India was selected for the T20 World Cup 2021, two Mumbai Indians batsmen Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav got a place in the 15-member team.

After this, the second leg of IPL 2021 started in UAE, but the performance of these two batsmen was consistently poor.

But in the 55th match of this season, both of them recovered their form while batting well and this led to the Indian selectors and the Indian team management. Must have been relieved.
