Meta deal with Kustomer, WhatsApp users will get a big benefit.
Meta Platforms Inc. on Tuesday said it has acquired Kustomer, a US-based customer service startup. META finalized the deal last month after approval from the European Union antitrust.
Meta first announced the purchase of Kustomer in November 2020. At that time the deal was finalized for $1 billion.
But due to ongoing investigation and regulatory scrutiny by the European Commission, the Meta-Kustomer deal final was delayed.
It was alleged that this deal could end the ongoing competition in the market. At the same time, there was a possibility of uniformity in the market. Rivals are calling this deal a bad acquisition.
