Jaishankar Said, Attempt To Change LAC Unilaterally, Unacceptable

Jaishankar said, attempt to change LAC unilaterally is not acceptable, Amid the ongoing border dispute with China.

Foreign Minister Jaishankar said that Chinese efforts to unilaterally change the status quo of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh will not be accepted.

India has also made it clear that in order to normalize relations, it is necessary that all agreements between the two countries should be treated with integrity.

In the Sardar Patel Memorial Lecture broadcast on All India Radio, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said these things.

Agreements should be respected with integrity

Jaishankar said that peace and stability in the border areas provide the basis for expanded cooperation between India and China.

However, since the epidemic unfolded, there has been serious tension in the relationship between the two countries.

He said, “In order to restore normalcy, the agreements between the two countries must be respected with utmost loyalty.

As far as the Line of Actual Control is concerned, any attempt to unilaterally change the status quo is unacceptable. ‘

Foreign Minister also said

– All governments in India and the United States worked to strengthen mutual relations in an impartial manner.

– India’s relations with Russia remain remarkably stable

– Early relations between the two countries are still relevant

– Europe and its member countries are natural allies for India

– India’s relations with France took a strategic form

– Corona epidemic the most devastating global event of recent times

Stress is made up of five months

LAC in East Ladakh between India and China has been under stress for the past five months. This situation is only getting worse.

Several rounds of talks have been held between the two countries at the diplomatic and military level, but have not yet been successful in reducing tensions.

Referring to cross-border terrorism, the foreign minister said that India will not compromise in the fight against it. He said that India will continue to value its neighbors by improving its relations with the emerging world order.
