JDS May Give ‘Issue-Based’ Support To BJP: Karnataka

JDS may give ‘issue-based’ support to BJP: Karnataka. Former Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy on Sunday said that the JDS can give issue-based support to the BJP in the coming days in the public interest.

Along with this, he clarified that his Janata Dal (S) is a party of self-respect of Kannada and will never think of a political merger.

At the same time, BJP has also rejected the speculation about the merger. Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa has termed media reports related to this as hypothetical.

Kumaraswamy has also attacked the Congress through a series of tweets, with which he formed the government in Karnataka in 2018.

He said that before the assembly elections, the Congress high command made fun of us by calling him the B-team of BJP and invited him to come to the door after the election to form a coalition government.

If we were the B-team of the BJP, we would not have formed a government with Congress We have nothing to do with the BJP, as the Congress is saying. Only issue-based consent can be formed.

He said that I want to make it clear that such a situation has not come up that a party like JDS should commit suicide by merging with another party. I do not think such a situation will come in the future also.

To go to Lord Ayyappa temple of Sabarimala, this condition has to be fulfilled

RT-PCR test certificate to be corona negative will be required for the devotees visiting Lord Ayyappa temple of Sabarimala.

Under this system, which comes into effect from 26 December, devotees will have to keep a certificate up to 48 hours before the pilgrimage.

Without this certificate, no one will be allowed to climb the hill of the temple. This information was given by the chairman of the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB), who is managing the temple.

This decision has been taken in the context of a recent decision of the Kerala High Court.

The court has also increased the number of pilgrims daily to 5000. The temple will be closed after Mandala Puja on 26 December, which will open on 31 December for Makaravilakku Puja and then on 20 January.

This will be the first annual pilgrimage here since the Corona epidemic. According to the revised guidelines issued on December 15, all personnel on duty in Sabarimala will also have to undergo an RT-PCR test.

Meanwhile, the state health department has stepped up antigen testing in Sabarimala and its base camp to prevent the suspected spread of corona infection in view of an increasing number of pilgrims
