In this case, two separate FIRs were also registered in the cyber police station of Ranchi earlier. Separate servers in Germany and Switzerland were used to send both e-mails.

ADG Anil Palta is monitoring.

The CID has stepped up efforts to nab the culprits ever since the chief minister received a threatening e-mail. CID’s ADG Anil Palta is himself monitoring the case.

He has also sent a letter of request to Germany and Switzerland so that the police can reach those who send the e-mail. So far, the IP address related to this e-mail has not been found by the cyber crime police station.
