After partnering with Jio, Jio and SES will offer broadband connectivity in India at very affordable rates. Jio will hold a 51 percent stake in this partnership, while SES will hold 49 percent.

Jio entered the field of satellite-based broadband: What will be special-

Jio will use Multi Orbit Space Network in conjunction with SES, which will be a combination of Geo stationery (GEO) and Medium Earth Orbit (MEO). This combination will provide multi-gigabyte links.

In this way, Jio will become a telecom provider providing fast internet connectivity without optical fiber in India and neighboring regions.

Jio will provide internet service to international aeronautical and maritime customers including India. Jio Satellite Broadband Service will provide internet service at a strong speed of 100 Gbps.

Mukesh Ambani’s Jio will develop a comprehensive gateway infrastructure in India in partnership with SES in India. About US $ 100 million (about Rs 755 crore) will be invested under this partnership.

Elon Musk will get a big blow-

The announcement of satellite-based broadband connectivity by Mukesh Ambani’s company Jio may give a major setback to Elon Musk.

Actually, Elon Musk’s satellite-based connectivity provider company Starlink has been trying to enter India for a long time.

However, due to some legal issues, the Government of India has stopped the start of Starlink service for the time being.

Along with this, Starlink company has been directed to refund the full money of the customers. Which was taken in the name of pre-booking.
