J&K DGP: if Taliban terrorists cross to J&K, they will be killed: Militancy In Kashmir. DGP Dilbag Singh said – If Taliban terrorists come to Jammu and Kashmir, they will be killed

Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Dilbag Singh said that the situation arising out of Taliban occupation in Afghanistan is being continuously reviewed.

No one in Kashmir will be spared by taking advantage of this to spoil the situation and spread violence.

The police will continue to take action against the terrorists and their supporters to restore lasting peace in the valley.

There is no scope for any sympathy towards anti-national elements.

The Director-General of Police was talking to reporters in Bandipora after taking stock of the law and order situation with senior officers of police and other concerned security agencies.

He said that there is no need for the common citizens to panic.

Terrorists and their supporters should panic because the police will not leave them under any circumstances, they will survive only if they leave violence and anti-national activities.

On questions related to Taliban occupation in Afghanistan, he said that we are constantly reviewing the situation. Our anti-infiltration system is very strong.

J&K DGP: If Taliban terrorists or their supporters come to Jammu and Kashmir, they will be killed. He will not be able to cross the LoC or the international border.

We will not allow anyone to disturb the situation in Kashmir. At present, the situation in Kashmir is better and calmer than ever before.

We are determined to maintain peace and law and order here. Bandipora was once called a stronghold of terrorists, today it is completely peaceful.

The terrorists have almost been wiped out. In the last few months, the commanders of various terrorist organizations have been killed by the security forces.

Recently TRF commander Abbas Sheikh has been killed along with his partner Saqib. The death of both is a big success for the security forces.

People heaved a sigh of relief at his death.

The Director-General of Police said that the police and all other security agencies will continue their operations till a single terrorist and one of his supporters remain in Jammu and Kashmir.

The activities of anti-national elements are being continuously monitored. Police are taking strict action against terrorists, overground workers, and their supporters.

He said that overground workers of terrorists are involved in grenade attacks and target killings on security forces and civilians. We will not leave them.

Earlier, he took stock of the security arrangements and anti-terrorist operations in a meeting with the Army, CRPF, BSF, and police officers.
