Another journalist has been killed in Mexico, the prosecutor’s office in the southern state of Guerrero has confirmed.

The news agency quoted the official as saying in a statement on Monday that Frederick Roman was shot dead in the city of Chilpancingo.

Roman’s program ‘The Reality of Guerrero’ focused on state politics. Clashes between drug traffickers and security personnel are common in Guerrero.

Prosecutors have yet to provide details regarding Roman’s murder. At the same time, local media says that he was shot inside his vehicle.
