Kalicharan Maharaj Arrested For Making Inappropriate Remarks

Kalicharan Maharaj arrested for making inappropriate remarks on Mahatma Gandhi, MP Home Minister raised an objection.

Chhattisgarh’s Raipur Police arrested Kalicharan Maharaj from Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh for his alleged provocative speech in ‘Dharma Sansad’ against Mahatma Gandhi.

A case is registered against him at Tikrapara police station in Raipur. Earlier he was said to be absconding. A case is registered against Kalicharan Maharaj in two police stations of Raipur.

Since then the police was looking for him. Raipur SP Prashant Agarwal said that Raipur Police had received information that they were in a hotel in Khajuraho.

He had switched off all his mobiles. Police reached the hotel at 4:00 am and arrested them.

Now Kalicharan Maharaj is being brought to Raipur by road. The police can reach Raipur by 5 pm, after which they will be produced in the court.

MP Home Minister raised an objection.

MP Home Minister raised objections to Kalicharan’s arrest. He said that it is wrong to arrest without informing the Madhya Pradesh Police.

Federal law does not allow this at all. I have given instructions to the DGP of Madhya Pradesh to talk to the Chhattisgarh DGP regarding this.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is in Delhi these days.

He told the news agency that if anyone makes indecent remarks about such a great man (Mahatma Gandhi), action will be taken against him. Chhattisgarh Police has taken this action.

His (Kalicharan Maharaj) family members and lawyer have been informed. Will present them in court within 24 hours.

A case was registered against Kalicharan Maharaj in many parts of the country including Raipur for making indecent remarks on Mahatma Gandhi.

It was only last evening that news came that Kalicharan Maharaj had fled from Raipur. After which the Raipur Police started their search in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.

A case was registered against Kalicharan Maharaj under section 505(2) and section 294 in Raipur. The former mayor of Raipur and the current chairman Pramod Dubey had lodged an FIR against him.

Let us tell you that in the Parliament of Religions held in Raipur, Kalicharan Maharaj had said abusive words about Mahatma Gandhi.

He had said that the goal of Islam is to capture the nation through politics. Before our eyes, they captured it in 1947.
