Karnataka Chief Minister Bommai hits back at Siddaramaiah, calls the Congress party ‘slavery’.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday hit back at Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah’s statement.

He described Congress as a party of ‘gulamgiri’ (slavery). He said that the statement of the former Chief Minister shows his desperation. Earlier, Siddaramaiah had called the BJP Talibani.

Responding to Siddaramaiah’s statement, Bommai said, “It (Congress) is a party of Ghulamgiri, so they also look at patriotism differently.

We are a party of patriotism, they are a party of Ghulamgiri.

Talking to reporters, he said, due to Macaulay’s education policy adopted by Congress during his rule, India was deprived of opportunities to compete at the global level.

He said that now Prime Minister Narendra Modi has brought a new education policy to ensure revolutionary changes in the education system which can take our children.

Especially the children from rural areas, into the knowledge age of the 21st century, but Congress is also to blame for this.

Siddaramaiah had on Sunday alleged that the BJP was Talibani and also claimed that it was actually the RSS that was running the administration in Karnataka.

Speaking at an event in Bengaluru, he had said, “RSS and BJP are from Hitler’s lineage. BJP is Talibani. Beware of them.

Responding to this, Bommai said that looking at Siddaramaiah’s statement, it is clear that he is desperate.

He said Siddaramaiah is a former chief minister, the way he spoke was not in line with the position he had been in earlier.

During the monsoon session in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly on Friday, there was a lot of uproar in the state on the issue of National Education Policy (NEP).

During this, Congress termed the new National Education Policy as the agenda of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

In response, the ruling BJP hit back at the Congress, saying that the NEP was not Italy’s or Rome’s education policy or Macaulay’s education policy which Congress wanted.
