Karnataka CM praised PM For the withdrawal of agricultural laws.

The Chief Minister of Karnataka said – the decision to withdraw agricultural laws is the result of a responsible government.

After the withdrawal of agricultural laws, this decision is being called the victory of the farmers.

At the same time, the Chief Minister of Karnataka has praised this decision taken by the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Bommai said, “This is a sensitive response of the central government to the demands of the farmers.”

Commenting on the Prime Minister’s decision, Bommai said, “The law was part of the central government’s intention to bring reforms in the agriculture sector under the WTO agreement during the UPA government.”

It was the UPA government that had prepared the draft agricultural laws.

“The draft was modified by incorporating the suggestions of the state governments. The laws had a provision for farmers to sell their produce directly to buyers.

However, farmers in Punjab and Haryana were agitating on a large scale to continue with the regulated market system.

Speaking about the report sought by him on Friday on the damage caused to agricultural crops due to unseasonal heavy rains in various parts of the state in October and November.

Bommai said, “We have to get the primary information of crop damage including paddy and Jowar from the districts.” The report has been received.

Bordered by Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Coastal Region Districts, and North Karnataka. The state has received heavy rains in October and November.

After receiving the survey reports from all the districts, the Chief Minister has assured appropriate action for payment of compensation for crop loss in different parts of the state.

Chief Minister to visit flood-affected areas of Andhra Pradesh.

Heavy rains have created a flood-like situation in the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh. 12 people died and 18 people are missing.

Rescue personnel has retrieved 12 bodies in the Rajampet area and a search is on for the missing.

PM Narendra Modi spoke to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy over the phone and inquired about the situation arising in the state due to heavy rains and the steps taken by the government.

The Chief Minister will conduct an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas on Saturday.
