Karnataka Government Opens Treasury For Lockdown Affected

Karnataka government opens treasury for lockdown affected, announced Rs 1,250 crore relief package.

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa, who is battling the second wave of the Corona epidemic, announced a relief package for those affected by the lockdown caused by the corona.

The Chief Minister has announced a relief package of Rs 1,250 crore for all those people.

The Yeddyurappa government was one of the first state governments to announce an economic relief package during the first wave last year.

Along with this, the Chief Minister also said that a decision will be taken to further extend the lockdown that ends on May 24 in the state.

He said that our government had given financial packages to various sectors during the first wave of Corona.

Despite this, as the current restrictions have affected the unorganized sector and the livelihoods of farmers, to reduce its impact, we are announcing a relief program of more than Rs 1,250 crore.

Talking to reporters, he said that his government is announcing the package despite facing financial constraints, and stands with the people during this difficult time.

In response to a question, he said, “We have done our best within the current financial limits and will also consider if more needs to be done in the future.”

Explain that at the start of the second wave, the state had announced a lockdown for 14 days from 27 April, but later increased it from 10 May to 24 May due to an increase in Corona cases.

As the lockdown ends early next week, many leaders, including ministers, have appealed to increase it to control the spread of Corona.
