Corona cases are increasing in Karnataka amidst increasing cases of corona in India. Karnataka is witnessing a rapid increase in the daily cases of corona infection.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has said that the government is seriously considering the recommendation of experts. There will be a final meeting with experts on 2 issues on Friday.

The first issue will be what should be the protocol of the corona epidemic in the event of the third wave and the second issue will be what should be the stand of the government on the opening of schools.

After these issues are discussed, all the representatives will be called and action will be taken.

More than 1500 cases of corona infection are being registered in the state every day.

According to the data of the Karnataka Health Department, in the last 24 hours, 1,785 new cases of corona were reported in Karnataka.

While the number of people who got cured is 1,651. 25 people have died due to corona infection.

The total number of active cases of corona in the state is 24,414. So far the death toll from Corona in Karnataka has risen to 36,705.

So the total number of people recovering there is 28,52,368. In the last 4 hours, the corona infection rate in the state is 1.43 percent.

For the last few days, the cases of corona are increasing in the state. On Wednesday, the number of corona infections was 1769 and 30 people died.

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) had 108 micro-containment zones as of August 2.

On July 31, in view of the increasing cases of corona in the state, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai extended the corona restrictions till August 16.

Also, the government has made it mandatory for people coming from Kerala to have a negative report of RT-PCR, which should not be more than 72 hours old.
