Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor: Shape of Baba Darbar started coming to the fore, target to complete the work by 30th November.
The expansion of Baba Darbar, the most prominent in the dream projects of Kashi MP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is nearing completion.
According to the intention of the government before the Lok Sabha elections, after the efforts of the state government, now the grand form of Baba Darbar has started coming to the fore.
Because of this, Baba Darbar is now going to establish its identity as a magnificent complex on the world stage.
It is believed that this year the Baba Darbar Expansion Project will be dedicated to the public by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
With the passage of time, under the expansion and beautification project of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the aspect of the corridor being built from Baba Darbar to Gangadhar has started to emerge.
Out of 23 works, the structure of 15 has been ready, while five are now being given the final touch.
It will be completed within a fortnight. In this, the showcase of the entire project includes Godoulia Gate as well as the largest and highest area temple square.
Then Bhogshala, shop number one, and passenger convenience center one and two are included.
Particularly, a parikrama gallery and a gate have been prepared in the main campus as well. Chunar stonework will be completed by September 25 and marble will be installed.
At present, only platforms of three buildings have been prepared for bringing goods and machine tools. Presently proposals for four buildings including Ganga Gate, Ramp have been sent.
This main entrance gate of Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor by road has been completed as Godoulia Gate.
The eastern gate of the main complex of Shrikashi Vishwanath Temple which opens in the temple square of the corridor, this area is also almost ready.
The inner part of the temple square where the work on the land is currently in progress, while the stonework of Chunar has been completed.
The circumambulation site of Shrikashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor, where the believers who visit the temple will circumambulate the temple.
The Museum of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor was not only the history of Baba Darbar but also the religious importance will be preserved.
The main complex of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the Chowk area of the temple outside where Baba Dham Corridor is taking shape.
Mandir Chowk of the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Corridor Complex, this corridor is the largest area. Devotee facilities have been developed in it.
It will house the Banaras Gallery where handicrafts and literature related to Banaras will be available.
Manikarnika Gate will be built on the Ganga end of Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor and a ramp for disabled and old people will also be constructed.
Here Baba Darbar will be directly connected to the banks of the Ganges. A target has been set to complete the work of the Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor by 30 November 2021.
So far 23 buildings have been sanctioned whose work will be completed in this period.
Apart from this, proposals for four works including Manikarnika Gate, Ramp, Cafeteria, have been sent to the government. Once approved, the work will start.
Additional time and budget will be given for this. In such a situation, it is believed that the construction cost will be above 400 crores. At present, an estimate of 431 crores has been made for this.
It is believed that after this the Prime Minister can inaugurate the Baba Darbar expansion and beautification project on the day of Dev Deepawali.
