Kashmir range IGP Vijay Kumar on Tuesday warned the terrorists not to attack policemen who are on leave or coming home, not to torture the family members of any security personnel.

The IGP has given this warning to the terrorists after the killing of Inspector Parvez Ahmed Dar in Nowgam and SPO Fayaz Ahmed in Tral two days ago by terrorists along with his wife and daughter.

Talking to reporters here on Tuesday, he said that the situation in Kashmir is improving rapidly. People no longer care about terrorists. Most of the terrorists have been killed.

Apart from this, talks have also been successful in bringing the situation to complete normalization in Kashmir and taking the political process forward.

The terrorists have become completely frustrated by this. That’s why he wants to create fear among the common people by targeting them.

The IGP said that Inspector Parvez was killed when he was going to offer prayers at the mosque. He was unarmed. The terrorists shot him from behind.

Two days ago, an incident took place at the house of SPO Fayaz Ahmed in Tral. Jaish terrorists involved in the Tral incident have been identified, they will be killed soon.

In the area where this incident took place, two top Jaish commanders Adil Pathan and Qari Yasir have been killed during the last three years.

He said that I warn all terrorists not to attack any policeman or his family members.

The IGP said that we cannot keep the policemen in the camps here like the central forces. He is a local and has to go to his family members.

He said that we have also identified a module of terrorists operating in Srinagar and its adjoining area, it will be completely destroyed soon.
