Kiefer Moore saves Wales from defeat against the Switzerland in Euro Cup.

Striker Kiefer Moore scored a useful goal in the second half to save his team Wales a 1-1 draw in their Euro Cup Group 1 match against Switzerland on Saturday.

After trailing by a goal, it was thought that captain Gareth Bale’s team would start the tournament with a loss to Wales, but Moore scored a crucial goal to equalize the team.

Star striker Bell was under a lot of pressure to get the team back, but Moore brought him relief by scoring a goal. Although the Swiss team had chances to score in the first half, they could not take advantage of it.

The first half was goalless, but Moore also got opportunities to score in this half. Moore attempted to score from inside the box, but was well defended by Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

The Swiss team started the goal in the second half when in the 49th minute, Briel Embolo broke through Wales’s defence, giving the team a 1–0 lead in the match.

After this, Moore scored in the 74th minute with the help of Morell and got the team back in the match.

Meanwhile, Swiss player Gavornovi scored in the 85th minute to give the team a useful 2–1 lead, but his goal was checked with a blow and was later declared invalid due to an off-side.

At the same time, Italy registered a stunning 3-0 win over Turkey late on Friday night. All goals for Italy came in the second half.

The first goal came from Turkish defender Merih Domiral’s suicide goal in the 53rd minute, while the next two goals came from star strikers Ciro Immobile (66th) and Lorenzo Insigre (79th).

If the Euro Cup is successful, the road to the Olympics will open.

The Euro Cup, one of the biggest sporting events, began after sporting activities were affected last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The first match of this tournament, which was delayed by a year, was played in Rome, the same country which was most affected by Covid-19 outside Asia and which first imposed a nationwide lockdown.

If the Euro goes well, it will also boost the organizers of the Tokyo Olympics, which was postponed by a year last year.
