The tender has been issued by Kolkata Police regarding this. Kolkata Police will buy 18 mobile toilet vans, 10 mobile charging vans, and 4 mobile kitchen vans at a cost of Rs 4.4 crore.

Mobile toilet vans will be deployed to assist women police personnel at various major crossings in the metropolis and during any major political event.

Apart from this, there are plans to deploy mobile toilet vans, mobile charging vans outside many big puja pandals during Durga Puja.

According to police sources, sometimes women police personnel face toilet problems during Durga Puja and other law and order programs.

Apart from this, many times the charge of the mobile of police personnel ends. In view of this, these vans are being bought.

State-of-the-art bomb and electronic detector machines will also be included in the fleet.
