Kupwara Encounter: The security forces saved the life of the one who fired to kill them.

Anti-national elements may accuse the security forces of human rights violations, but the reality is just the opposite.

Evidence of this was found on Friday in Langate (Kupwara) of North Kashmir when a Lashkar terrorist who came to attack the security forces were injured during the encounter.

the jawans immediately rushed the terrorist, covered in blood, to the hospital, which saved his life. The search operation of the security forces is going on to nab the other accomplices of the terrorist.

According to the information, a joint team of police and army was on regular patrol in Langate.

During this, at one place the terrorists opened fire on the soldiers on seeing them with automatic weapons.

The soldiers retaliated. The shots were fired from both sides for about five minutes.

During this, a terrorist fell on the ground as soon as he was shot. The other accomplice fled from there. The soldiers picked up the blood-soaked terrorist and took him to a nearby hospital for treatment.

According to doctors, if the terrorist had been delayed for some more time in taking him to the hospital, it would have been difficult for him to survive.

At present, his condition remains critical. The injured terrorist Abrar Hasan is a resident of Azadganj in Baramulla.

Abrar has also been a notorious stone pelter:

Terrorist Abrar has become a terrorist of Lashkar some time back. He has been counted among the infamous stone pelters of Baramulla.

He also worked as an overground worker for Lashkar terrorists. Two FIRs are also registered against him in respect of stone-pelting and the cooperation of terrorists.

Instead of catching another terrorist, priority was given to saving the life of the injured terrorist:

Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar said that it is our endeavor to nab the local terrorists in some way so that they can improve their lives.

Abrar Hasan along with his partner attacked the security forces. Had the security personnel wanted, they would have left him there to die and caught his other accomplice.

But they gave priority to saving his life. Search is on for his accomplice.
