Lenovo Smart Clock Essentials launched in India. It will get a built-in Alexa facility. Lenovo has launched a new Alexa-enabled smart clock in India called Smart Clock Essentials.

The new device looks similar to the existing Smart Clock Essentials with Google Assistant support but with a slight change.

The watch also has a 3W speaker, which gives users the benefits of a smart speaker. This means users can command Alexa to make hands-free calls or control smart-home devices.

Lenovo says the Smart Clock Essentials comes with a mic-mute toggle, which electrically disconnects the microphone to ensure privacy.

Alexa Built-in Lenovo Smart Clock Essential Clay comes in Red and Misty Blue color options. You can buy this clock at a price of Rs 4,999.

It will go on sale on June 15 on the Lenovo India website, and Amazon and will be available later on Lenovo offline retail channels as well.

If users are buying the device from Amazon, the platform is offering a discount of Rs 1,500 on SBI credit card non-EMI transactions. But you have to make a purchase of at least Rs.5,000.

Lenovo Smart Clock Essentials comes with a 4-inch auto-dim LED display, which lets users check the weather, humidity, and outside temperature.

Apart from this, you can also set alarms, and reminders and add items to your Amazon shopping cart with simple voice commands.

Lenovo states that Smart Clock can also take into account the needs of users by showing the time to auto-dim the display on Essentials.

With the soft button at the top, users can control Smart Clock Essentials.

Apart from this, by giving voice commands, you can control the TV and all electronic devices like Fan, Light, Plug, AC, and Lock.

Note that this smart clock runs on electricity and must be connected to an electrical outlet at all times. Smart Clock Essentials comes with Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
