LG: will give proper answers in the Lavepora encounter case soon.

Jammu and Kashmir LG Manoj Sinha said that after considering all the facts in the Lavepora encounter case of Srinagar, a proper reply will be given.

Jammu Kashmir is a sensitive state, there should be a balance here so that the morale of the security forces does not fall.

The Lieutenant Governor has assured that if there is any doubt, an investigation will be done in this matter. I have got all the facts of the Lavepora encounter case, I am considering these.

LG Manoj Sinha was addressing a press conference in Jammu on Thursday.

In December last year, security forces killed three terrorists hiding in a house in a 16-hour encounter in Lavepora on the Srinagar-Baramulla highway.

After this, there were allegations that this encounter was fake in Kashmir. Demonstrations had started about the fact that school and college-going children were killed as terrorists.

The army had released a video in this case, claiming that the best effort was made that the terrorists surrender.

In the Balakot sector of Poonch district, the Pakistani army suddenly opened fire in the late evening targeting the forward posts and residential areas of the Indian Army.

According to the information, at about 9 o’clock on Thursday, the Pakistani army started firing at the forward posts of the Indian Army in the Balakot sector.

As soon as the Indian Army retaliated, Pakistani soldiers started firing mortar in the residential areas. The Indian Army is also giving a befitting reply.
