LPG cylinder becomes expensive again, oil companies increased rates by Rs 105.
The price of LPG cylinders has increased further. From March 1, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has been increased by Rs 105.
With this increase, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder in Delhi has gone up to Rs 2,012 from Tuesday.
The price of a 5 kg cylinder has also increased by Rs 27. Now the price of a 5 kg cylinder in Delhi will be Rs 569. However, it is a matter of relief that there has been no increase in domestic LPG cylinders.
The price of LPG cylinders is reviewed every month for all the states and union territories of the country.
Earlier, on February 1, the oil marketing companies had cut the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 91.50.
How much did the prices increase in the states?
Now the price of a commercial LPG cylinder in Kolkata has increased by Rs 108 to Rs 2,089.
At the same time, the price of LPG gas cylinders in Mumbai has increased to Rs 1,962. Whereas in Chennai it is Rs 2,185.5.
LPG price hiked 5 times.
Commercial gas prices have seen a 5-fold increase in 5 months. Earlier, the hike was done on November 1 and October 15.
As per the notification, there was no increase in the prices of domestic cylinders weighing 14.2 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg mixed, or 5 kg mixed cylinders.
Prices will increase from April.
According to media reports, there may be a sharp increase in the prices of LPG from April 2022.
Apart from LPG cylinders, the prices of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Piped Natural Gas (PNG), and even electricity may increase.
The increase in the prices of CNG, electricity, and other petroleum products will also increase the transportation cost and operating expenses.
