Major success of Indian Navy, successfully test-fired surface-to-air missile system.

The Indian Navy on Thursday successfully test-fired its ship-based surface-to-air missile system by hitting a low-flying target. The video of the test has been shared by the Indian Navy on Twitter.

Indian Navy tweeted, All in one day! Look at your Navy’s guided-missile anti-submarine stealth frigate. He did what he does best. It has successfully achieved a low flight target with its SAM system.

He has reaffirmed his crew’s ‘First Hit, First Hard’ mantra. Explain that this test was done by the force from a stealth frigate stationed on the western coast.

The first firing of the anti-ship missile from a helicopter was on May 18. The Indian Navy got a big success on 18 May i.e. Wednesday.

On that day the Navy successfully conducted the first firing of the first indigenously developed Naval Anti-Ship Missile from Seeking 42B helicopter at ITR Balasore, Odisha in collaboration with DRDO.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on May 17 launched two indigenously built warships ‘Surat’ and ‘Udayagiri’ at Mazagon Docks in Mumbai.

In the launch of this program, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had said that the construction and launch of these destroyers amidst the ongoing turmoil in covid and Ukraine is an example of our maritime capability and self-reliance.

Two warships launched together for the first time.

According to Mazagon Postal Shipbuilders Limited (MDL), this is the first time that two indigenously built warships have been launched simultaneously.

MDL is a premiership and submarine manufacturing defense public sector undertaking.

First Woman Combat Aviator: Captain Abhilasha Barak becomes Combat Aviator, the first woman to do so.

The Indian Army today got its first woman officer in the form of the Army Aviation Corps. Captain Abhilasha Barak has become the first woman to achieve this feat.

According to the Indian Army, Abhilasha has successfully completed her training after which she has been inducted into the Army Aviation Corps as a Combat Aviator.
