Manipur Violence: Demonstration of Kuki community outside Amit Shah’s house in Delhi, said – attacks continue even after assurance.

Angry over the incidents of violence in Manipur, Kuki community members protested in Delhi.

People of the Kuki community gathered and demonstrated outside the house of Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday morning. Police have been informed about this.

A protester said, “Home Minister Amit Shah had assured that peace would be restored in the state, but still our community continues to be attacked.”

The lives of people in our community are at stake. Only Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi can help us.

Police said that the protesters also had placards in their hands. It was written on them- ‘Save Kukie’s life’. During this, the protesters were also raising slogans.

Police said 4 protesters were allowed for the meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah. The rest of the protesters were taken to Jantar Mantar.

Manipur Violence: Demonstration of Kuki community outside Amit Shah’s house, 98 people died so far.

Let us tell you that 98 people have lost their lives in the violent protests in Manipur in the last month. Apart from this, more than 300 people have also been injured in the violence.

Due to the violence, 272 relief camps were set up. More than 37 thousand people have been given shelter in these camps.

BSF Jawan Martyr.

There was another exchange of fire between security forces and a group of militants at Sero in Manipur on the intervening night of June 5-6. A BSF jawan has died in the firing.

Apart from this, two soldiers of Assam Rifles were also injured in the attack.

Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said the BBC was in the hands of those with plans for India, mocking the BBC’s press freedom claims following a tax raid on BBC offices.
