Kanpur SIT (Special Investigation Team) reached Gorakhpur on Saturday within 16 hours after the investigation of the Manish Gupta murder case was transferred.

Additional Commissioner of Police Anand Kumar Tiwari, who is leading the team, reached Hotel Krishna Palace (scene) along with the forensic team.

After Manish’s death, he recreated the crime scene by reaching room number 512 of the sealed hotel.

During this, along with the Gorakhpur forensic team, the team of Gorakhpur Crime Branch was also present.

After reaching the hotel, the scene was recreated.

Additional Commissioner of Police Kanpur Anand Kumar Tiwari, in charge of SIT, reached Gorakhpur with DCP South Raveena Tyagi, Additional DCP West Brijesh Kumar Srivastava, and forensic team.

After taking information about the incident from the police officers, the forensic team from Kanpur and Cantt police reached Hotel Krishna Palace.

The hotel was evacuated before the team arrived. After questioning the hotel manager and staff, the SIT in charge reached room number 512. Manish Gupta was staying with his two other friends in this room.

The team did a thorough investigation.

After examining every aspect related to the incident, the SIT in charge got the crime scene recreated.

After this, the SIT, investigating the matter, called Gorakhpur Crime Branch SP Crime Dr. MP Singh, CO Cantt Shyamdev Bind to the hotel and inquired about the investigation and action taken in four days.

After calling the forensic team in charge of Gorakhpur, after seeing the scientific evidence gathered after the incident, everyone’s statement was recorded. The investigation of the SIT continued till late at night.
