People’s Conference chairman Sajjad Lone said the killing has added another name to the valley. He termed the attack as cowardly.

He said that his condolences are with the family of the sub-inspector who was martyred in this hour of grief.

State BJP spokesperson Altaf Thakur said that now the terrorists have gone furious and are attacking even police personnel operating without weapons.
