MediaTek’s powerful processor Dimensity 9000 launched, will give tough competition to Qualcomm’s flagship chipset.

Taiwan’s leading chipmaker MediaTek has launched its flagship processor MediaTek Dimensity 9000 globally.

It will compete with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 plus and the upcoming Snapdragon 898 chipset. The company claims that this is the world’s first chipset, which is made for the 4nm process.

This chipset offers a download speed of 7Gbps on a 6GHz 5G network. It will get the support of Bluetooth 5.3.

According to the company, MediaTek Dimensity 9000 is the world’s first chipset, which will support 320MP camera sensors.

Its speed is 3.05GHz and it supports LPDDR5x 7500Mbps. Smartphones equipped with this processor will be introduced in the first quarter of next year.

Talking about other features of this chipset, it will provide more battery backup than the old version. Apart from this, users will be able to record HDR videos.

With the arrival of the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, users will get a display with a 180Hz refresh rate in the phone.

At the same time, this processor will support features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Stereo Studio.
