Meteorological Department Issued Alert In Bengaluru

Meteorological Department issued an alert, that there will not be any relief from the rain in Bengaluru.

People’s lives have already been disturbed due to the rains and floods in Bengaluru. At the same time, due to the rain in the city since early today, the troubles of the people have started increasing even more.

Because the Meteorological Department has predicted that there is little hope of people getting relief from the rain in the coming days.

In the last few days, people were breathing a sigh of relief as the rains stopped and the water level in the flooded areas gradually receded, but now they are again worrying.

The power supply stalled due to waterlogging.

Let us tell you that people in the submerged areas and apartments are trying to remove water and remove mud from their houses and basements.

Darkness prevailed in some of the worst-affected areas with no power supply and non-availability of drinking water. However, officials said that efforts are on to restore the supply at the earliest.

While the vehicular movement continued in many parts of the city as the water level receded.

However, there is still water logging on the outer ring road and Marathahalli and adjoining areas, causing problems in movement.

Meteorological Department issued an alert: People were worried about the rain.

Some people from flood-affected areas and apartments had moved to relatives or friends or stayed in hotels. All of them are now coming back to their locality.

A resident of Yemalur said, “With the situation improving slightly, I have come to visit my house and get it cleaned.

But there is a shortage of pumps to remove the remaining water as the demand has increased at this point in time.

Also, there is a shortage of labor to remove the sludge. Now you have to find them. There is also a power cut. Hope there will be no more heavy rains.

Chance of rain in next 48 hours.

Another resident of Marathahalli said that it is expected that there will be no more rain, though it has been cloudy and drizzling since morning.

In apartments that have water in their basements, their generators and power backup equipment have been damaged.

Moreover, according to officials, it is not safe to restore power supply in apartments whose basements still have water-logging conditions.

The Meteorological Department said that from Thursday morning, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain or thundershowers once or twice in the next 48 hours in the city.
