Ministers of Punjab State Cabinet Leave Pre-Cabinet Meeting after Tiff with Chief Secretary over Extract Approach

Punjab Ministers on Saturday left a pre-Cabinet meeting on the extract approach with senior state authorities over an ‘unsuitable conduct’ of the main secretary with one of their associates.

The improvement prompted the postponement of the cabinet meeting which was planned for Saturday. Presently, it will be hung on Monday.
Chief Secretary Karan Avtar Singh had supposedly gotten into mischief with Technical Education Minister Charanjit Singh Channi.

Singh had supposedly mentioned criticisms regarding a portion of his proposals like including assuming responsibility for unsold alcohol distributes and changes in the extract approach. The main secretary is said to have discovered the recommendations reasonable.
