Mithali Raj’s strong innings against Australia, she made a world record in her name: ICC Women’s world cup 2022.

The Indian women’s cricket team has entered the ICC World Cup under the captaincy of captain Mithali Raj with new vigor.

This captain, who took India to the final, has continued her strong game. On Saturday, Mithali made another world record in her name against Australia with a superb half-century.

Thanks to this innings, India posted a score of 277 for 7 in 50 overs in front of Australia.

Australia, which has been so far invincible in the World Cup, won the toss against India on Saturday and elected to bowl first.

India returned to the match on the strength of the captain’s innings after the early dismissals of Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana.

First Mithali took over the team along with Yastika and then Harman along with Pooja Vastrakar took the team to a big score when both of them were out.

Yashtika Bhatia and captain Mithali Raj laid the foundation for the team’s big score by making a simple partnership.

Both these batswomen scored half-centuries. Yashtika made 59 off 83 balls while Mithali scored 68 runs off 96 balls.

During the World Cup, Mithali Raj made the figure above 50 for the 12th time. With this score, Mithali became the second batsman to do so the most times in the World Cup.

New Zealand’s Debbie Hawkley had earlier crossed the 50-run mark in the World Cup 12 times.

Now Mithali has also joined this list. She surpassed England’s Clarett Edward’s record of more than 50 runs in the World Cup 11 times.

Mithali, Yastika and Harman’s Fifty.

Mithali scored 68 runs off 96 balls with the help of 4 fours and 1 six and equaled the World Cup record by crossing the 50-run mark for the 12th time in the World Cup.

Playing with the captain, Yastika played an inning of 59 runs in 83 balls with 6 fours. In the lower order, Harman played an innings of 57 runs.

Pooja Vastrakar scored 34 runs in 28 balls with the help of 2 fours and 1 six.
