Modi cabinet approves the ‘PM Shri’ scheme of the Ministry of Education, and the face of 14500 schools will change.

The Modi cabinet has approved the “PM Shri” scheme of the Ministry of Education. Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an announcement about this on Teachers’ Day.

Under the “PM SHRI” scheme, 14,500 schools across the country will be rejuvenated. Some new schools will be built. These schools will be developed as model schools.

‘PM Shri’ will be a modern, transformative and holistic way of teaching in schools.

In these schools, the focus will be on modern infra including new technology, smart classrooms, sports, and others. This project will be run under the new education policy.

PM announced the Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM-Shri) scheme on the occasion of Teachers’ Day on Monday.

Under this Scheme, 14,500 schools across the country will be developed and upgraded.

The Prime Minister said that PM-Shri would be a modern, transformative and holistic way of imparting education in schools and would also have a special focus on the latest technology, smart classrooms, sports, and modern infrastructure.

The Prime Minister had tweeted and said, “Today, on Teachers’ Day, I am announcing a new initiative. Under the Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM-Shri), 14,500 schools across the country will be developed and upgraded.

All these will become model schools and will have the full spirit of the National Education Policy. The emphasis will be on the way education is imparted.

There will also be a special focus on the latest technology, smart classrooms, sports, and modern infrastructure.
