Modi Government Is Preparing 28 Strong Highways Across Country

Modi government is preparing 28 strong highways across the country, will do runway work for the Air Force.

National Highway 925A is in the Western Sector of the Indian Air Force. The place is Jalore of Rajasthan.

This road, just 40 km from the Pakistan border, has become an airstrip for the Indian Air Force, which has given a new edge to India’s air power.

For the first time, a national highway has been specially built for emergency landing of Air Force aircraft.

The landing on the highway runway was inaugurated by the Indian Air Force’s powerful aircraft Sukhoi 30 MKI. After this, the C130J Super Hercules of the Air Force did a touchdown.

Simultaneously, the Jaguar jet of the Air Force, showing its stamina, ran on the highway of Jalore. The Air Traffic Control Tower is also present here to control the aircraft.

This special highway built for the Indian Air Force is like the Shakti Path on the border for the country. It is a major strategic booster for the army in the western sector of India.

Modi government is preparing 28 strong highways: In combat, it can be used as a backup runway. This is actually an emergency landing step.

In war, sometimes enemy countries leave by dropping bombs on the runway, then the runway cannot be used for three to four hours.

This emergency landing stip has been made to land the airplanes which are in the air at that time. In war-like situations, this runway can be used for emergency use and as an effective runway backup.

The government is preparing 28 such highways across the country, which will be able to act as runways for Air Force aircraft.

This airstrip built in Jalore is three kilometers long. In the year 2017, Air Force aircraft Mirage-2000 had rehearsed for an emergency landing on Lucknow-Agra Expressway.

After this, the national plan took hold for the construction of a facility like Jalore Highway. In the 1971 war, on December 3, Pakistan first attacked India’s airbase.

From Awantipora in Kashmir to the whole of Punjab and Rajasthan, many airbases were attacked. In such a situation, if the runway is damaged, then the air operations will stop.

Therefore, there is always a provision for other places i.e. alternate places from where the military campaign can be continued. This is their greatest strategic importance.

Fighter planes are very small. On the other hand, transport aircraft need a large space to land. Both types of aircraft can be landed on Jalore Highway.

Fighter aircraft are always the first to attack, and transport aircraft support their armies, deliver supplies and prepare them for combat.
