Prime Minister launched a scathing attack on Jawaharlal Nehru over the Indus Water Treaty. PM Narendra Modi strongly criticized former PM Jawaharlal Nehru over the Indus Water Treaty, accusing him of signing it with Pakistan without consulting Parliament or his cabinet.
Modi alleged Nehru compromised national interests to build his image, granting Pakistan over 80% of water. He said his government is correcting past mistakes and urged unanimous support for CP Radhakrishnan as Vice President.
