More Than 10 Lakh Samples Tested, Active Cases Below 10 Lakh

More than 10 lakh samples tested, Corona active cases below 10 lakh for 13 consecutive days in the country. There are some positive signs in the fight against the Corona epidemic.

For the last 13 days, there have been less than 10 lakh active cases. On Sunday, the number of active cases decreased to less than nine and a half million. 14.32 percent of the total cases remain active cases.

A large number of patients are also recovering from new cases. So far, more than 55 lakh people have been cured and the recovery rate of patients has increased to 84.13 percent.

These figures are also relieved because more than 10 lakh samples are being tested.

66.15 lakh infected people

According to the data received by the news agencies till 11 pm on Sunday night, 76,504 new cases have been found and 83,099 patients have been cured since late Saturday.

With this, the figure of total infected has reached 66.15 lakh and the number of cured patients has reached 55.75 lakh. During this period, 906 people have died and the number of deaths has gone to one lakh two thousand 621.

The number of active cases remains at 9.37 lakh. According to the figures of the Union Health Ministry, the total infected is 65.49 lakhs, healthy patients are 55.09 lakhs and the number of dead is one lakh one thousand.

The death rate has come down to 1.55 percent.

11.42 lakh samples tested on Saturday

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, 11 lakh 42 thousand 131 samples were tested on Saturday. More than 1 million samples are being tested daily for the last four days, while there have been holidays.

So far, seven crores 89 lakh 92 thousand 534 samples have been tested across the country to detect corona infection.

New cases of continuous decrease in Maharashtra

New cases are constantly falling in Maharashtra. There are 13,702 new cases in the state and the figure of infected has reached 14.43 lakh. 326 people have died. So far, 38,084 people have lost their lives in the state.

In Gujarat, 1.42 lakh have been infected with 1302 new cases. The death toll in the state has come down to 10 after a long time. Nine people have died and the total death toll has risen to 3,499.

Things are improving in Delhi

The situation seems to be improving in the national capital Delhi. New cases are constantly declining. However, the number of infected has increased to 2.90 lakh, including 2,683 new cases.

The figure for the dead has reached 5,510 with 38 deaths. In Odisha, 3,326 new cases have been found and 15 people have died. The total number of cases is 2.32 lakh and total deaths are 907.

In Tripura, with 322 new cases, the total number has exceeded 26 thousand, and four people have also died. In Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the total number of cases has gone up to 3,869 with 10 new cases.

The outbreak continues in South India

An outbreak of epidemics persists in South India, although new cases are declining in other states except for Karnataka and Kerala. 10,145 new cases have been detected in Karnataka and the total infected has been 6.40 lakh.

In Kerala, 8,553 new cases have been found and total infected 2.28 lakh, Andhra Pradesh has 6.242 new cases with 7.19 lakh total infected, Tamil Nadu has 5489 new cases with a total 6.19 lakh, Telangana has 1,949 new cases and around two lakh in Puducherry.

Nearly 30 thousand have been infected with 343 new cases. Another 67 (9,286) in Karnataka, 66 (9,784) in Tamil Nadu, 40 (5,981) in Andhra Pradesh, 23 (836) in Kerala, 10 (1,163) in Telangana and five (539) in Puducherry have also died.
