Mumbai on alert: The Central Railways has rescheduled, redirected and directed a few trains from Mumbai considering the cyclonic tempest ‘Nisarga’ which is set to make a landfall at Alibaug toward the evening.

Five exceptional trains leaving from Mumbai have been rescheduled and three unique trains will be either redirected or managed en route, the Central Railways (CR) said in a press release.

Following the changes, the LTT-Gorakhpur  Special will leave at 8 pm rather than 11.10 am, LTT-Thiruvananthapuram Special at 6 pm rather than 11.40 am, and LTT Darbhanga Special at 8.30 pm rather than 12.15 pm, it said. Also, the LTT-Varanasi Special will withdraw at 9 pm rather than 12.40 pm, and CSMT-Bhubaneswar Special will leave from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus(CSMT) here at 8 pm rather than 3.05 pm.

The Patna-LTT Special planned to show up at 11.30 am, and Varanasi-CSMT Special booked to show up at 2.15 pm on Wednesday will be managed en route and show up bogged down, the CR said.

Likewise, the Thiruvananthapuram-LTT Special booked to show up at 4.40 pm will be occupied through Pune to show up at the Lokmanya Tilak End (LTT) here bogged down, it included.
