The murder of Praveen Nettare, a worker of BJP Yuva Morcha in Karnataka, is heating up.

Sources in the National Investigation Agency said on Wednesday that the murder of 31-year-old Nettare at Bellare in Karnataka’s Dakshina Kannada district was aimed at creating an atmosphere of fear in the area.

Sources said that the accused, Zakir Savanur, Mohammed Shafiq Bellare, Sheikh Saddam Hussein Bellare, and Mohd Haris Bellare, who were arrested in connection with the incident, have disclosed this during the investigation.

NIA sources said that the motive of the attackers was not to kill Nettare but to avenge the murder of Masood and to spread panic among the local people.

The Karnataka Police arrested all eight people within 24 hours of Masood’s death on July 19.

Before killing him, the assailants chased him, got all the details about him, and killed him on 26 July.

This was followed by the murder of 23-year-old Mohammed Fazil to avenge the murder of Nattare on the outskirts of Mangaluru district.

Resentment among leaders.

While busting the case, the police also arrested six accused involved in the murder of Mohammad Fazil.

There is anger among BJP workers and leaders in the area over the killing of Nattare. In this context, the party members surrounded the residence of the Karnataka Home Minister.

It is known that on the late evening of July 19, BJP youth worker Praveen Nettare was attacked with deadly weapons by unidentified persons on a bike in Bellare, Dakshina Kannada.

When the BJP Yuva Morcha leader was killed, he was on his way home.

Tension prevailed in many parts of the Dakshina Kannada district after the murder. Protests also took place in many parts of the district over the killing.
