Star Paras out of a tournament: Young Indian player Paras Dahiya, who came on the court after a long time, suffered a loss to foreign player Jonathan of Sweden. Fourth seed Jonathan defeated Dahiya in straight sets by a margin of 6-3, 6-3.
At the same time, Oliver Cufford of America did not have to work very hard to win against Lorenzo of Italy. They won 6–1, 6–1. Third seed Britain’s Adian Chugh defeated young star India’s Nitin Sinha 6-3, 2-6, 6-2.
The match lasted for 2 hours 24 minutes. Eighth-seeded Luka Castellanuova of Sweden defeated Nikki Kaliynda of India 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 in a thrilling second round.
