Nagpur Mayor Looks For FIR Against Municipal Commissioner

Nagpur Mayor Sandip Joshi looks for FIR against Municipal Commissioner for ‘Fraud’. Nagpur City Mayor Sandip Joshi on Monday recorded a police protest looking for enrollment of a criminal offense against Municipal Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe claiming anomalies by abusing his post.

Tending to a public interview, Joshi claimed Mundhe, Brilliant, and Reasonable City Advancement Organization Restricted (SSCDCL) CFO Mona Thakur and Records Official Amruta Deshkar submitted fabrication by conceding Rs 18 crore to two Savvy City venture temporary workers from fixed stores of the government. Mundhe said the temporary workers were paid according to the set system.

” Municipal Commissioner Mundhe and others abused their presents on submitting abnormalities in Brilliant and Supportable City Advancement Organization Constrained (SSCDCL). Subsequently, I and Pioneer of House in NMC, Sandip Jadhav, have stopped a police grumbling looking for enrollment of a criminal offense against these two authoritative officials (Mundhe and Thakur),” said Joshi.

Joshi and Jadhav are executives in the SSCDCL. He likewise scrutinized the arrangement of Mundhe as Chief of the Savvy and Feasible City Improvement Enterprise Restricted “without the endorsement of the top managerial staff”.

Mundhe said the metropolitan chief is an ex-officio executive according to an administration’s goals (GR) and articles of affiliation. “The President (of SSCDCL) had surrendered in February, following which the executive requested that I dominate,” Mundhe said.

Reacting to the claim excessive charge to temporary workers, Mundhe said they were delegated before he assumed responsibility as the municipal boss. “The contractual workers had submitted bills after fruition of work and they were paid according to the set methodology,” he said.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Vanita Sahu affirmed receipt of the protest. “We have to confirm the substance of the grumbling and need to ask about the entire issue. The further move will be made dependent on realities,” the DCP said.
