According to media reports, the toll tax on the national highway is being considered for the treatment of the victims of the accident.

The National Highways Authority is working to calculate the amount required to treat people who have been injured in road accidents. Including hit and run cases. But a report is claiming that the government feels that about Rs 2,000 crore will be required annually for this.

For information, the new Motor Vehicle Act provides for free medical care for road accident victims and compensation for hit and run victims. At the same time, people in the country, regardless of their lives, are seen breaking traffic rules. Police invoice thousands of people every day due to not wearing a helmet and over speed etc. Despite this, its people do not follow traffic rules.

Meanwhile, the government efforts are on to bring electric vehicles in India. The result of which we can often see. Recently Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot, in a meeting with the Energy Minister, said that subsidy will be provided to 1,000 electric buses in Delhi under the New Electric Vehicle Policy of Delhi Government.

The statement issued by the Delhi government said that “Establishment of charging infrastructure in Delhi-NCR has also been discussed in the presence of state and central government officials”. In which the first phase of this policy aims to set up 200 charging stations in Delhi in the next one year so that a charging station can be set up within every 3 km.
