Navy Chief Said– China Has Become Difficult Challenge For India

Navy Chief said– China has become a difficult challenge for India, and Pakistan is also strengthening its army.

India’s Navy Chief Admiral R. Hari Kumar said on Tuesday that China remains a formidable challenger, which has increased its presence not only on India’s land border but also in the maritime domain.

He also emphasized that the Navy is keeping a regular watch in the Indian Ocean region.

Delivering the keynote address at an event on ‘India’s Naval Revolution: Becoming an Oceanic Power’ here, the Navy Chief discussed traditional and other security challenges for the country.

He also said that “despite the economic crisis, Pakistan continues to modernize its military, especially its navy, which is on track to become a 50 platform force by 2030-2035.”

He said that while these traditional military challenges persist, terrorism remains a major security threat as its size and scope continue to grow.

He said that in this regard, China remains a formidable challenger and has increased its presence not only on our land border.

But also in the maritime domain through anti-piracy operations so that it can normalize naval presence in the Indian Ocean region.

He later said in a forum conversation that China has been in the Indian Ocean since 2008 and has also built a military base in Djibouti.

At the same time, it is also developing various ports on the coasts of Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Pakistan, and other countries in the region.

The Navy Chief said that we are monitoring their activities in the Indian Ocean region.

Indian Army: The symbols of the British era will be removed from the Army, and there will be a change in the names of uniforms and regiments.

It is necessary to get rid of the things of the British era.

“It is necessary to get rid of the archaic and ineffective practices while getting rid of the British colonial legacy,” said an officer at the Army Headquarters.

He said that the Indian Army also needs to review these heritage practices so that they are in line with the national spirit in line with the five resolutions that the Prime Minister has asked the people to follow.
